Spotlighting staff at Amazing Spaces: Lisa is known in our office for her
elephant memory and her big heart. Taking everyone and their emotional well being under her wing (including the visiting clients!), Lisa is a master at finding the right location to suit the brief
– and sometimes even when it doesn’t - (the art director ends up choosing something completely different from the original brief!) Lisa is committed, tenacious and really passionate
about Amazing Spaces; our clients and her four-legged family at home.

'Amazing event'... The lead up to House and Leisure's House of the Year event
at 008 James Bond kept us on our toes this month with the likes of E-style, Home Channel & Top Billing covering
the event.
Following the announcement of 008 as the winning house, guests were chauffeur-driven to the venue where a Champagne & oyster reception awaited.

products in these settings too."

Value Add Products: We fully appreciate the reality of the
pressures faced this season due to tightened budgets and fewer jobs. In response we have introduced the following value-add products to assist you and the client, and to promote SA as a film
friendly destination.
- Linger Longer
- we will be increasing the stills' clients time allowed on set by one hour without them incurring overtime.
- More for Less - we will charge only 10% per hour for any overtime
incurred.
- It's a wrap - prep and wrap days for Film shoots will be charged out at a maximum of 50% of the day fee. (Some homeowners do however still ask for
more.)
- Take a Rain Check - We will treat ALL bookings as ‘weather bookings’ which means that the client does not pay for the bad weather days that they cannot shoot, but is
obligated to use your location on another day.
- Talk to Us - we are negotiable - particularly for longer bookings, smaller shoots, local shoots and exterior shoots.
- Keep
it Lean -we will be charging the client based on the number of people on set (if they have 2 photographers but below 15 people on set, then no extra charge) (ditto for events)
- Local
is Lekker – we will continue to support the local market which has brought many a job in (albeit on small budgets).
Bollywood, Bollywood, Bollywood! We have had a
fantastic Bollywood month with Anil Kapoor Productions (of Slumdog Millionaire Fame) shooting in association with Mind-blowing Productions. We had a very successful string of shoots at 4 of our
locations namely;Riverhouse, Eagles, Ocean View Villa and Villalara.
Calling all Scouts! We understand that life as a Scout can often be stressful! For this
reason we are working on a product specifically for the Scouts in our industry to make your lives even simpler, courtesy of Amazing Spaces. Watch this space...
